Today

There are two days in every week that we shouldn't worry about.

One is yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. We can't bring it back even if we tried!

The other day is tomorrow, with its possible adversities, blunders, blessings, and happiness. Until its sun rises, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn. It simply "hasn't been" . . . yet!

That leaves only one day - today!  Anyone can fight the battle of just one day. It is only when we add the burden of those two eternities - yesterday and tomorrow - that contentment will escape us. Don't let the "yesterdays and the tomorrows" get you down.  The sun has risen "today" - let's make the most of this day!

One day at a time . . .
